We were working out how to mult  big  numbers .which is your favourite?

science fair results

We have been doing a science fair these are our results.Our plants have improved by 60 mm.The pl;ants grew alot after being under the salafame. Our hypopoathits was wrong we thought the gold was going to grow the best but it was the clear plant.

Calender art

This year for calendar art we did a study on a Fillipino story about the moon and the sun. The story was about how the sun and the moon loved each other so much and the had there stars as kids. The sun was to hot to hug there kids. One day the moon was out doing jobs and the sun hug them but the stars mealted.

Thirsty

Last Tuesday we did a quick write about animals on a farm drinking out of a bucket.

For our social science fair Jacob and I are doing a presentation about our WW1Edendale veterans

ANZAC art and poem

We made art and cross out poems and painting. It was interesting finding out information about are ANZAC. It was challenging to choose what words to use. 

Drive prototype

The bangles really worked really well with the wool. You need to pull the wool tight so their is no losse threds 

Math clinic

We were working out ways to make numbers  1-20 out of just four 4s or  four 2s.

Camp day 1!!!!

Today my favourite activity was the kayaking because I liked using the paddles and falling in to the pond when I stood up .

Pen pals

I liked writing to my pen pal. Next time I would like to add a bit extra things.

Pop art

This is my pop art. First we had a photo taken of a heads then we trased around the photo. Then we drew patterns with crayons. Then we dyed over them. I liked how if you put white crayon on the photo it would stay white.

3D name art

This is my 3d name art. It was difficult  to hold up the name art with the pva glue being flimsy. I like how you could put your letters of your name in different ways. I learnt that if you put your glue stick behind your letters they would stand up.

Teamwork words

Today we are learning about the importance of team work and our learning. 

Our team chose TRUST as our most important word, then we put COOPERATION as the second most important, last but not least we have DREAMS as our last word. 

Our team chose The word TRUST because without it the team would not be able to COOPERATE with each other, and without COOPERATION we wouldn't be able to succeed with our goals or DREAMS.
