Commonweallth Games

Sctland has hosted 2  commonwealth games 1 in Edinburgh and one in Glasgow.The mascot is the scoty dog.The biggest place in Soctland is Glasgow.

St John

On Thursday St John came to talk about first aid.  We saw a mini ambulance .We did a 111 call with old cellphones. I learnt how to stop a bleeding nose.

LMV Athletics

On Wednesday we had Athletics. First we got on the bus to get to Wyndham.  Edendale,Wyndham,Tuturau and Glenham were there too. First we did high jump I knocked the bar down a lot.  Then we went to shot put I was 2nd at first but then I came last.Next we went to 60 meters.  After we had lunch then I went on the swings and I touched the tree.Then we went to discus and my dad was there he watched me. Then I went home with my dad and I got topper ice block it is an ice block with ice crime in the middle.

Sport Southland

Every Tuesday  Lorne from Sports Southland comes to teach us some athletics like run,jump and throw.  We  have been  learning new stretches.  I can't wait to the next time we have him.
